Background

Ian is an experienced Learning & Development professional, specialising in Management and Leadership development, team development and Executive Coaching. Prior to this Ian had 15 years of Senior Management experience in Engineering, Change Management and HR in pharmaceutical, aerospace and automotive sectors.

In 2003 Ian started working as a Consultant working with clients in a range of sectors including construction and utilities, telecoms, retail banking, logistics, further education in the areas competency assessment and personality feedback, management and leadership development and top team development.

Ian draws on his extensive line management and consultancy experience and applies a pragmatic approach to his work. He is passionate about what he does and is continuously updating his own areas of expertise so that he is able to bring increased depth and challenge to his work.

Ian builds strong relationships with his clients, easily building trust and confidence, as well as providing appropriate levels of support and challenge.
