Personal statement

My motto is to ‘challenge, change and capture’:

  • By questioning what you do, how you do it and looking at things from different perspectives and different mindsets, you open up new opportunities and possibilities
  • By thinking, doing and behaving differently, you create change
  • By listening and engaging with people, you capture hearts, minds and spirits

Key to this is building relationships, creating trust, developing self-awareness and having fun.


Background

Julie has over 15 years’ experience in creating and developing learning solutions; specifically focusing on building management and leadership programmes to engage, excite and develop individuals and teams to achieve their full potential. She is passionate about her role and gets a buzz from bringing people on board with organisational change and culture transformation and turning cynics into collaborators.

Julie works closely with her clients to understand and get under the skin of their needs; partnering with them to ensure that jointly agreed solutions are creative, motivating and engaging. She has a highly collaborative approach that enables and supports leaders to build their talent in order to achieve organisational goals and lasting success. Julie delivers quality and impactful training/development sessions using a variety of techniques, approaches and behavioural tools.

Using her excellent communication skills, commitment and infectious enthusiasm, Julie has a proven ability to build and maintain open, honest and highly productive, trusting relationships; coaching and developing talent to deliver results in line with business objectives and initiatives.

Julie has extensive experience within the travel and telecoms industries, working with Thomas Cook, My Travel and Three mobile, where she consistently supported people by driving cultural change in very fast paced and ever changing environments. She also worked with British Gas to implement an ‘Inspiring Change’ programme.

Julie works across all levels of the business; working closely with directors, senior leaders and managers, whilst still maintaining an understanding of employees’ needs and the challenges facing organisations. Her focus is on the successful management, implementation and delivery of cross functional projects, alongside tailored development, support and coaching for specific business areas.
