Personal Statement

I believe that the cornerstone to success in any business, regardless of its size, is excellent customer service. Once this cornerstone is in place, a business can operate to its full potential, especially when combined with proven, business processes operating within its framework. The strength of any great business is combining these two practices to realise business improvement usually involving change. I believe that having an expert with proven experience to guide a business through this change will enhance the chances of success.


Background

Lisa graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 1994 with a Law Degree and joined Ford Motor Company as a Financial Analyst as a part of the company’s prestigious Graduate Training Scheme.

Having decided she wanted to pursue her passion for ‘real’ retail sales she left FMC and joined HR Owen PLC in 1996 where she started as a Senior Sales Executive for Mercedes-Benz and stayed for three years. As a result of her success in Sales, Lisa was asked to head up the new Sports Cars Showroom for HR Owen as Showroom Manager in the newly-developing financial district of Canary Wharf. Within a year she was asked to run both of H R Owen’s Sportscar operations as the General Sales Manager (City and West-End branches) with responsibility for Ferrari, Maserati, Lotus and TVR along with two bike franchises.

At the start of 2002 Lisa was then approached by the Senior Team heading up one of the Industry’s most radical projects – the DaimlerChrysler UK Retail programme where she remained until the end of 2008. During her time at DCR (latterly Mercedes-Benz UK Retail) Lisa initially sat on the Operational Board as Sales Director and latterly as one of the Retail Directors and is widely credited for developing its Sales and Business Processes and Procedures.

At the start of 2009 Lisa decided to take an opportunity to start her own Business consultancy (Lisa Associates) specialising in the areas she feels most passionate about – Business improvement and strategy development; Management Coaching; Leadership Skills Training and Improvement; Successful sales practices and performance; Excellence in Customer Service and Effective Marketing.
