Background

Maggie’s first career was in the computer industry, initially as a systems analyst and later as an effective computer sales executive.

After retraining, Maggie has since been involved in the professional and personal development of individuals and groups for the past 18 years. Initially, she designed and presented experiential workshops including Communication Skills, Motivating Others, Dealing with Aggression, Assertiveness, Building Confidence, Negotiating Skills and Stress Management. Later, as an associate of the Pathways consultancy, she worked on a range of projects facilitating groups on organisational and team development programmes.

As a coach, Maggie builds rapport quickly and helps clients to maximise their potential and make effective and lasting changes in performance, attitudes and behaviours. She brings to her work a sound understanding of culture change, diversity and gender issues.

Whilst always clear of the learning objectives, when necessary, Maggie can let go of the proposed agenda and work with the emerging issues within a team or group where the breakthrough learning can take place.
