Personal statement

Success for me is delivering what I promise as a Business Development Manager and knowing that our organisation will support and deliver their promise.

When I work with the team as a ‘Business Reactor’, It motivates me to see the participants show genuine behavioural change which in essence is what Change Creation is all about.


Background

After gaining a degree in English Literature and Drama at Sheffield University, Simon went on to study acting to post-graduate level at the Webber Douglas Academy in London. He has been a professional actor and musician ever since, touring more than 20 countries worldwide with the English Teaching Theatre. In the West End he has performed in shows such as Return to the Forbidden Planet, Buddy and Jailhouse Rock. He has been a radio presenter and actor for BBC English with the World Service, is a regular voice artist for Classic FM, and has appeared on Top of the Pops! He is a PRS member, having several song-writing credits to his name.

He first became involved with corporate acting when he was asked to be musical consultant for a live interactive health and safety training event for Kellogg. He has since worked in corporate performance with several other major organisations, across a wide range of sectors including Mercedes Benz, Pfizer. GE Healthcare, Standard Life, Prudential Insurance, Fujitsu.
